This Privacy Policy explains how Octoways Pvt. Ltd. ("Octoways", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through our corporate website at octoways.com.

Octoways is an AI-first product studio based in Kathmandu, Nepal. We provide AI integration, custom application development, big-data and analytics services, and software products for billing, logistics, location intelligence, hospitality, media, and maritime operations.

This policy covers the public corporate website octoways.com only. It does not automatically govern personal data processed inside Octoways software products, hosted services, or client implementations. Those are governed by the relevant order form, subscription agreement, statement of work, or data-processing agreement.

Where Octoways processes data on behalf of a client within a delivered product, the client is normally the controller and Octoways acts as a processor under that agreement.

The website collects information only when you choose to submit it:

• Contact form (/company/contact): name, company (optional), email address, purpose of enquiry, and your message.
• Booking / consultation form: name, email address, company (optional), what you would like to discuss, and your indicated timeline.
• Project enquiry form: selected service, first name, company, role, location, project description, timeline, budget range, email address, phone number (optional), and preferred contact method.
• Scheduling: if you book a meeting, the details you enter into the embedded Cal.com scheduling interface, including your name, email, chosen time slot, and time zone.
• Direct email: anything you send to hello@octoways.com.

The website does not require account creation, does not process payments, and does not operate a newsletter sign-up.

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure and the third-party services embedded in the site automatically receive technical information when you visit, which may include IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring page, pages requested, and timestamps. This is generated at the network and hosting layer rather than by tracking code we have added.

We do not operate any analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking scripts on this website at the time of writing. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

We use only a small amount of local browser storage that is strictly necessary for the site to function as you expect:

• Theme preference — stored in your browser's local storage so the site remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.

Third-party scheduling: the Cal.com scheduling interface is embedded and loads only when you open the booking dialog. Cal.com may set its own cookies or storage when loaded, governed by Cal.com's own privacy policy.

Web fonts: typefaces are served from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's font servers when a page loads. Google receives your IP address and request headers as part of that request.

Because we do not run advertising, analytics, or profiling technologies, we do not display a cookie-consent banner. If non-essential tracking is introduced in future, we will implement a consent interface with equally clear accept and reject options before any such technology loads.
